Ready for Easter

We have been busy here at Mt. Calvary getting ready for Easter.  We spent the week before spring break talking about Palm Sunday.  It was so much fun to act it out with our palm branches and Miss Hannah as the donkey.  

Everyone had fun decorating their egg cartons for our big Easter Egg Hunt too.

 

We celebrated Easter with all of our preschool friends at our party this week.  Everyone is also welcome to join us this Sunday at 9:30 am to celebrate Easter with Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.  The service will be followed by a breakfast and an Easter egg hunt. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had a fun science lesson a few weeks ago learning all about rain clouds. 

 

Serious Fun

Here at Mt. Calvary Preschool, learning is serious fun!

It may seem like it's all fun and games...

and it usually is...

but hidden in all that fun, there is some serious learning going on too.

Everyone has been working so hard on writing their names.  

We are also counting up to the number 26 this week!

The shamrock has really helped the children understand the concept of the Trinity.  

There are three leaves, but they are all part of one shamrock.

 

We also made some cute hats for St. Patrick's Day.

These kids will definitely be ready to wear their green on the 17th.
